A Senior Living Home Built Around Dignity, Connection, and Quality of Life
Bloom Homes Assisted Living was created from a desire to give older adults a more compassionate and personal care experience.
In 2022, geriatrician Dr. Chloe Kilman heard a podcast about residential senior care and began considering a different approach. Through her work with older adults, she had seen residents living in settings where they were not always treated as thoughtfully as they deserved.
She and Nicholas Blanchard decided to build a home where seniors could receive attentive support, maintain their dignity, and continue enjoying meaningful relationships and daily experiences.
Bloom Homes Assisted Living is planned to open in 2027 in Brandon, Mississippi.

Dr. Chloe Kilman is double board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. Her professional experience gives her a close understanding of the medical, emotional, and everyday needs of older adults.
This perspective helped shape Bloom Homes from the beginning and continues to guide its approach to resident care.
Meet the Founders
Dr. Chloe Kilman
MD, FAAFP, CDP, CMDCP
Co-Owner and Founder
Dr. Kilman is double board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. She currently works as a physician and Assistant Professor of Geriatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
She has completed Certified Dementia Practitioner training and brings an informed understanding of the wants and needs of senior adults. She deeply values the opportunity to care for older adults and learn from their experiences.
Nicholas Blanchard
Co-Owner and Founder
Nicholas Blanchard proudly served in the United States Air Force, where he developed valuable leadership skills.
He graduated from Hinds Community College with multiple degrees and certificates in computer science. He has worked with Nissan North America as a Quality Control Technician since 2004.
